Fishing Information VOL.2(Amadai)

26th May 1996: Fishing place : Off Hota in chiba prefecture. By My Boat from home port
Time : From 10AM to 3PM
Tide : Neap tide. Ebb tide at 5:18AM, and up, Flood tide at 10:55AM, and down,Ebb tide at 5:12PM (Tokyo Standard Time. -30 min at Mera)
Weather : Fine. A little strong southwest wind . The condition of Sea was not calm.
Target Fish : Amadai
Tackle : 2.1m rod. line No was 3.0, line length was 2m. Hook was Chinu No.3. Weight was No.50.
Depth : 60m to 75m. Htting zone was 1m to 2m over the bottom.
Bait : Krill.Ground bait was nothing.
Fishing results : 2 Amadai from 30 cm to 35cm. Another fish were 5 Toragisu.

MEMO
My Boat Could be left port as Reconstruction of my home port "Harbor TSUHAMA" have roughly finished. I went fishing by My Boat for the first time in about 7 months since octobor at last year when reconstruction bigan. I was worried the condition of engin but it was good. I have attacked my usual point off Hota in Chiba prefecture though it was late season for Amadai. I have had difficulty by small fishes but got 2 Amadai 30cm to 35cm. I got 5 Toragisu except 2 Amadai. Sashimi of Toragisu is very delicious.

Point

Amadai live in bottom of 40 m to more than 100m depth of mud and sand condition. You have to search by sonar.
It is effective to tempt the fishes by going up and down the rod because keeping away from small fishes.
