Fishing Information VOL.5(Aji)

1th July 1996: Fishing place : Off Kanaya in chiba prefecture. By My Boat from home port
Time : From 9AM to 3:30PM
Tide : Spring tide. Flood tide at 4:07AM,Ebb tide at 10:57AM,Flood tide at 6:07PM (Tokyo Standard Time. -30 min at Mera)
Weather : Cloudy and Fine. Gentle south wind after gentle north wind. The condition of Sea was calm.
Target Fish : Aji
Tackle : 2.1m rod. line No was 1.5 , line length was 3m. Hook was Chinu No.2. Weight was No.30.
Depth : 15m to 20m. Hitting zone was 3m to 7m over the bottom.
Bait : Krill or chip of cuttlefish .Ground bait was opossum shrimp.
Fishing results : 47 Ajies from 16cm to 25cm. Without another fish

MEMO
It was cloudy and gentle north wind. It was best condition for the rainy season. I have left my home port "Harbor Tsuhama" by my fishing boat. The colour of sea was the good colour (a little muddy). That day was Monday and the good results could be expected as there wre few professional fishing boat at the place. I began fishing at my usual point for Aji off Kanaya after casting a anchor.There were a lot of Ajies on the display of my sonar for fishes because of no fishing boat around my fishing boat. I could get Aji as soon as starting fishing though the tide from south to north was a little fast. I certainly got fishes by tempting fishes 3m to 7m over the bottom. I changed the place and aimed at Aoriika because I already got a lot of Ajies. But I could not get Aoriika. However It was a good day when I enjoyed fishing of Aji.

Point

You can catch a lot of fishes without making an effort if there are many fishes at the place and those fishes are active.
You can have much chance for fishing on monday to friday (week day) because there are few fishing boat around you.
