MEMO

It was rainy all day, sometimes hard. I have left my home port "Harbor Tsuhama" by my fishing boat at 8:30 AM. The condition of Sea was calm but rainy. I went to the sea off Katsuyama in the condition of a rainy north wind as I got the information of Mejimaguro's migration around off Katsuyama. The colour of the sea was clear. There were some fisherman's boat and trawler. I drifted my boat by parachute anchor far away from a group of fisherman's boat The depth was 100m to 150m. Hitting zone was 20m to 40m depth. I dropped the bait and I lured up fish at intervals of 1m from 40m to 20m depth. I did it again and again. Sohdagatsuo and Saba had a bite at every cast of the line in the morning. Afternoon, I could get 2 Mejimaguro which were my today's target. She was very big fighter, so the line was took out about 20m from the reel at a breath. As there was no other boat near my boat, I allowed free run aroud of fish and caught the fish after growing weak. I also kept 6 Saba( these were for shimesaba and boiling. Saba in fall is very delicious).

PS : I got a 50cm Mejimaguro too next week.
